Where to stay in Bodrum? Xanadu Island Resort

Are you thinking of going on holiday in Turkey this summer? Great idea! I’ve just came back from a dreamy info trip with Hello Holidays in Bodrum, Marmaris and Fethiye and I’ve prepared a couple of posts to document the holiday. It was quite a beautiful trip and  had the chance to experience a lot of fun places and things.

Our first stop was in Bodrum and we stayed at  Xanadu Island Resort with all inclusive services! Absolutely loved it. Why?

Infinity pool with a gorgeous view

I did check the resort before arriving, but the infinity pool is way nicer live than in the photos I’ve seen online. It is surrounded by palm trees and features a gorgeous view of the Aegean Sea.  Of course, you can always enjoy a cocktail by the pool or other all inclusive amenities.

A dreamy deck with sun beds

Xanadu Resort Island has different places where you can enjoy the sun and swim in the sea, but this deck in the little golf on the property is a real gem! Perfect to enjoy your vacation and take lots of pics for your instagram, ha!

Spacious rooms

The rooms aren’t just spacious, they are quite big! I stayed in a Courtyard Suite, a one bedroom featuring a kingsize bed, sitting area with twin sofa and coffee table, plus furnished balcony. You can find both a shower and a tub in the bathroom and you have a little room for your luggage and clothes. If you are a big family or a group of friends you can always book one of the 8 villas on the property.

The delicious Turkish and international selection of food

I must confess, I am big foodie, gimme all the food! All inclusive hotels aren’t quite known for their fine cuisine, but the food at Xanadu Island Resort was quite delicious, especially the sea food! On our last day there, there was a big barbecue with lots, but looots of food and I couldn’t stop myself with the fresh grilled shrimp! I also do recommend simit bagel with cream, honey and Turkish tea for breakfast.

And one last thing, the Wi-fi was spotless throughout the property. Of course, the hotel has separate kids area, spa, gym, aerobic classes, bars & more, but I highlighted what I loved most.
