In english, it’s actually the Archia Manor for the contemporary aristocrats, but I think it sounds better in ro, Conacul Archia pentru boieri contemporani.
First of all, let me tell you that Transylvania, where Conacul Archia is located, is the number one 2016 travel destination on Lonely Planet. I’m not going to tell you how awesome is here, you can see for yourself when you come and visit us.
Enough about that, back to our dreamy decor business. Silvia forwarded this Romanian gem the other day, I’ve been smitten with it ever since and I had to share it with you.
The manor recently went through a rebranding to position itself as the first manor for contemporary aristocrats, fancy, no?
Every room has a theme and is decorated accordingly, Virginia Szabo, the owner, started collecting furniture since the early 90s, without a precise plan. Conacul Archia came to life years later, so everybody can now see the hidden beauty of the pieces.
The are two types of rooms, the herald ones and the attic ones, each one embodying the place and spirit of the contemporary aristocrat.
Ok, too much chat. I’ll let you enjoy this amazing place right now, I’ve selected way too many shots, but I couldn’t restrain myself, each and every one is so, so dreamy.
Aww, check them out on TripAdvisor also.
